Hello, kind soul!
The two of us, my husband and I, are now photo-videographers, both in Bucharest and Cluj and everywhere in between ;), and we work as a team in life and in business. So, you have both services covered (photo+video), or two photographers, or two videographers at once, for the price of one if you only want photo or only video. But we weren't always photo-videographers. If we had known it was this great and that we loved it this much, we would have done it sooner! 😊 We worked for 22 and 32 years, respectively, in a multinational corporation. During that time, we asked ourselves a few times: WHAT am I leaving behind? Not for my immediate family, that's a different discussion. No. What footprint am I leaving on other people's lives? In fact, am I leaving any at all? What am I contributing so that a person feels better?
For a while, I liked that what I produced together with my team, in that multinational, brought order, clarity, logic, predictability, and efficiency to the work of many colleagues across all departments of that corporation. Then I saw that those documents changed quickly, were updated, canceled, and replaced by others with lives just as ephemeral, and authors just as fleeting in the organizational chart.
And the question returned: what difference do I make for a person?
Only now, when our professional paths have transformed without us necessarily planning it, when everything flowed from one to another until we ended up doing event photo and video with such love, did we find the answer. We found it because we weren't the first ones to realize it. We found it because it sprang from the soul of a mother for whom we did photo and video at her child's baptism, took the form of written words, and was shown to us:
“Good day and happy birthday! I haven't managed to write to you until now because only last night and today did we watch the video and photos. Everything turned out very beautifully, I like it a lot, but the interviews, oh my… you took us through every emotion, we laughed, we cried, we relived some unique moments and for that we thank you very much. We kiss and hug you!”
I can show you the screen print, so you don't think I'm making it up :)
It seems that the way we take our photos and films touches the soul of the person receiving them, bringing a wave of emotion. Joy. Beauty. Youth. Love. Cheerfulness. Humor. Tears. Peals of laughter. And the emotions remain the same and even get richer over time, years and years later. They remain in one’s heart, get enriched with nostalgia and tenderness, remain in the memory of the whole family and will be passed on even to the child who won’t have truly known us. Isn't that nice?
And for it to turn out like this, we put into our photos and films the best we have. Honesty. Communication. Dedication. Creativity. Naturalness. Mystery. Passion. We put in everything that we are, our principles and values, our humor and our mistakes. We put in them everything we learned from life, everything we learned before being photo-videographers, working in a multicultural and competitive environment, and what we learned on our bike trips, pedaling hundreds of kilometers through surprising places and in unexpected conditions.
We love it to the max to photograph and film happiness, the smile smiled in the heart and the loving gaze into the depths of the other. We show in our photos and films things that sometimes our people might not even realize how they look in their daily lives: the love between them, their beauty, their harmony, their strength, and their fragility. We make every photo and every film the way we would like them made for us. Each person we work with is unique, each event is different, so each photo and each film is one-of-a-kind. Each person and each event put our creativity to the test. Every photo and every film must say something.
I won't bore you with the technical details of what we offer. We can talk about that separately if you are interested.
I can tell you this:
•Our packages are personalized for each person, depending on what they want, and we "tailor" several variants together, as realistic and close to their budget as possible, so they can choose what fits them best.
•For packages that involve our presence for at least 5 hours at the venue, we conduct interviews with a few people dear to you. This is one of our "signatures of originality." The interviews bring a lot of emotion, many surprises, and generate a special dynamic for the main film.
•If you are the extroverted type, we also film vows 😉
•We have collaborations with various small female entrepreneurs who produce/provide services in the events field (from sweets and cakes to the photo booth), and through us you benefit from discount vouchers for these products/services.
•The number of photos is not limited, but I assure you it's high 😊 For example, just for a church baptism, we deliver at least 500 edited photos.
•The film is in Full HD format and you can receive 2 versions - a long one (covering as much of what happens on that day as possible) and a short one (a few minutes summarizing everything).
•We have specialized in documentary-style filming and editing, narrating people's stories in images so you don't miss any important moment of everything that happens on your big day. Without too much direction (this doesn't mean we won't guide you if you need it), relying mostly on authenticity and spontaneity, because the most beautiful photos and the most sincere looks are the ones you don't even know are being captured by someone on camera, right?
•The photography style is natural, without filters, colors as realistic and close to the truth as possible.
•We do photo sessions, but also video sessions.
•We make photobook albums, also completely personalized, with you having the possibility to handwrite messages on the pages/next to the photos most important to you, printed messages that become an integral part of your album.
How does that sound so far? I'm waiting for us to talk more, to find out exactly what you need, and to find the best solutions together.
We hug you, reader, and we hug you, future groom, future bride, mommy-to-be or not, wherever you may be! Have great days, take care of yourselves, and have a Photo to Remember!
